Phineas And Ferb: Best Live Tour Ever!!

Hey Everyone! Disney Live is bringing Phineas And Ferb: Best Live Tour Ever to SoCal and I have a discount for you!

OK, I'm going to admit that I have never seen Phineas and Ferb, but Aubrey watches it at her dad's house and she LOVES it! It has been the #1 animated show for tweens for three years running and the Best Live Tour Ever is kicking off this month on an 80 city tour.

Favorite songs from the show, such as "Squirrels In My Pants," "Backyard Beach," "Busted," "Today Is Gonna Be A Great Day" and more inspire the plot for this part action adventure, part rock concert show.

If you'd like to check out the show here in SoCal there are two venues:

Not Smurfs - Disney. On Ice.

Hi Everyone! I hope you're all recovered from the first round of holiday gorging. I just got back from a quick run and making some fitness goals for myself so I can be ready to eat more for Christmas and New Year's!

Only two more weeks until my boyfriend, our nanny and my VERY excited 3 yr old daughter go to the new Disney On Ice show, "Let's Celebrate!" I'm really excited for this show. I like almost any entertainment with the Disney brand, but it also has been about 30 years since I've seen any kind of "fillin the blank" on Ice show. In 3rd grade, I saw Smurfs on Ice!! No joke. But I've never seen any of the Disney on Ice shows and I know it will be great. I'm always amazed at how those people skate in those giant, bulky costumes. That alone is worth the price of admission.

Anyway, if you live in SoCal, I have a great family deal for you on tickets! Details are at the end of this post.

This new skating show features over fifty beloved Disney characters and will be at four different venues in SoCal this December and January:

Staples Center - Los Angeles

Dec 15-19

Honda Center - Anaheim

Dec 21-26

Citizens Business Bank Arena - Ontario

Dec 29-Jan 2

Long Beach Arena

Jan 5-9

Here's the special ticket deal - get a special $48 Family Four-Pack offer or $4 savings on ticket prices ($12-$16-$21) for select performances! Regular ticket prices are $16-$21-$25.

Use the code "MOM" at TicketMaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000, to redeem your savings! Savings to not apply to front row or VIP seats. No double discounts. Service charges and handling fees may apply.

We'll be at Staples center! Hope you and your little ones can make one of the performances too! Happy holidays!

M-I-C...K-E-Y is MAGIC!!

I mentioned a little while ago that I am going to be taking my three year old daughter to a Disney Live! production later this month and I wanted to remind you of the details in case you're interested...

The show is called Mickey's Magic Show and I'm SO excited to take Aubrey! This will be her first large scale, theatrical performance viewing so I'm sure she will be blown away by it. Honestly, I think I will be too. I've attended many Disney events since becoming a mom and they always do it up right, sparing no expense to make a memorable and magical experience for kids of all ages.

I have always loved magic and Mickey's Magic Show is a combination of world class magicians and illusionists working alongside the beloved Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, the princesses and more, to create a family show of oohs and ahhs that everyone will love.

Aubrey is a big Mickey Mouse fan and she also falls for that "I've got your nose" trick EVERY time, so I think this show will be a winner!

Mickey's Magic Show is touring across the United States through April 2011. To find the performance nearest you, visit the Mickey's Magic Show website. I hope you can make a performance and if you do, please come back and tell me what you thought! I'll be sharing my afterthoughts too.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Mickey's Magic Show

I have a three year old and that means there is a lot of Disney action in our house. Last year, Aubrey got invited to her first Mickey Mouse event and I have to be honest, I wasn't sure if she knew who he was at that point, but apparently she did. As soon as she say the costumed character, she wanted to hug him immediately! Now when I'm trying to get her to look at the camera for a picture, I yell, "Aubrey look! It's Mickey Mouse!" Works every time... heh heh. (Don't worry. I'll cough up the green for her therapy bills later.)

We just found out that Disney Live! has a new Mickey Mouse show and we can't wait to go! It's called Mickey's Magic Show and we are thrilled that they are coming to SoCal and right down the freeway in Thousand Oaks too.

In Mickey's Magic Show, world class magicians will perform family appropriate magic based on the beloved Disney movies. Of course, costumed characters Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Cinderella and more will be there too so it should be a fantastic night for the family.

Mickey's Magic Show just hit the road this Labor Day weekend and is crossing the entire US through April 2011. Check their website to find the location nearest you.
